As reported on the cover of the January issue of COPA Flight, COPA is conducting a survey of its members. The selected sample of COPA members was mailed their surveys on Jan. 19.
All COPA members who do not receive a paper survey in the mail are invited to complete the survey on-line. The on-line version of the survey will be available early in February on the COPA website.
All COPA members who complete a paper or on-line survey will automatically be entered in a draw for an ICOM A24Li handheld VHF navcom radio valued at $395, provided courtesy of ICOM Canada and VIP Pilot Centre.
Additional prizes include a Bose Music System personal CD player courtesy of VIP Pilot Centre and COPA Collection clothing items, supplied by COPA. If you don’t fill in a survey then you won’t win!
The last COPA membership survey was conducted in 2002 and this new survey has been spaced five years later to see what has changed amongst our membership and also to get new information on what members think about COPA and aviation in Canada.
As with the 2002 survey all individual responses will be kept confidential and only summary results will be published.
The 2007 COPA survey is being carried out by Dr. Keith Christopher of KC Surveys. He has designed the survey with COPA staff input and will be analyzing the data received. He will write a report from the survey data and will provide recommendations to COPA.
COPA will publish the report of the survey results along with regular updates summarizing our progress in implementing what the survey tells us. This information will be published in COPA Flight and also posted on the COPA website.
