In a unique relationship with King Schools, Canadian Owners and Pilots Association members can now get a free King Schools Practical Risk Management for Pilots course with a purchase of either a King Flying the Garmin 430/530 or Cleared for Flying the Garmin G1000 course. COPA president Kevin Pustka said, "Safer flying is fundamental to COPA’s role. We’re delighted to partner with King Schools to provide this important course as a member benefit. This member benefit will save members money, but the big payoff comes in the accidents that won’t happen."
John King, co-founder of King Schools, said, "COPA’s leadership in risk management is significant. It provides COPA members with a key step towards safer, more confident and fun flying. We’re thrilled to be part of this COPA initiative."
Martha King said, "Over the past five years, pilots have reported to us that Practical Risk Management for Pilots has given them more utility with their airplanes, safer flying, more enjoyment, prevented accidents, and … in several cases … pilots have told us it saved their lives. Hats off to COPA for emphasizing the importance of effective risk management."
To receive the free Practical Risk Management for Pilots course, COPA members simply provide their COPA membership number when ordering a Flying the Garmin 430/530 or Cleared for Flying the Garmin G1000 course.
