COPA Medical Committee - new member

Dr. Jonathan Wallace, a native of Victoria, British Columbia is a rural GP and Emergency Physician.  In the past he has worked in many centres across Canada: big and small, from coast to coast, and usually traveling between them in his Cessna 172.
As a multi-IFR private pilot, he is pleased to have had the opportunity to fly from Victoria to St. John's and back, and to land in all 10 provinces, (although no territories as of yet).

In addition to his love of flying Dr. Wallace has worked as a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner in Moose Factory, Ontario. This past winter he has been thawing out while working for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Queensland, Australia, following which he will be returning to the University of British Columbia to obtain further training: this time in anaesthesiology.

Dr. Wallace has submitted informative medical articles to our COPA Flight newspaper and we just could not resist inviting him to join our Medical Committee. He will be accessible to COPA members as one of the doctors volunteering with the Medical Committee.
