Our first Annual Interprovincial Air Tour is being held from June 12-15, 2008.
A circle tour, showcasing six different communities over 500 nautical miles of Ontario and Quebec, comprise this three-day weekend flying adventure. So mark your calendar now!
COPA, along with the Aviateurs et Pilotes de Brousse du Québec are supporting the efforts of the organizers of this event, COPA Flight 23 (North Bay) and Flight 41 (Timmins).
Registration fee will include:
Saturday lunch at Amos is on your own at one of the local downtown restaurants
Optional Item: Gold mine tour at Val d’Or. This wonderful tour has so many options, the organizers decided they will be spelled out later and everyone can decide which option they want to explore.
Because we know pilots tend to “keep their options open” and not register early for events, it has been decided to offer a full refund cancellation policy up to May 28.
Registration will be limited to the first 50 aircraft. If necessary, there will be a wait list, and spaces allotted if cancellations occur. By the time you read this, the registration form and hotel information will be available on COPA Flight 23’s website: www.flyingnorthbay.ca and click on “Bulletin Board” section.

Fuel discounts will be available to tour participants at most of the locations visited, and special hotel rates have been arranged for early registrants.

Notre première tournée aérienne interprovinciale aura lieu du 12 au 15 juin 2008. Un voyage circulaire, mettant en vedette six communautés différentes sur un parcours de plus de 500 miles nautiques couvrant l’Ontario et le Québec, remplira cette aventure aérienne pendant une fin de semaine de trois jours. Alors marquez votre calendrier dès maintenant!
La COPA, comme les Aviateurs et pilotes de brousse du Québec (APBQ) supportent les efforts des organisateurs de cet évènement, l’Escadrille 23 (North Bay) et l’Escadrille 41 (Timmins).
Les frais d’enregistrement incluront:
Le lunch du samedi à Amos est laissé à votre discrétion à l’un des restaurants locaux du centre-ville.
Choix optionnel: visite d’une mine d’or à Val d’Or. Cette superbe visite offre tellement de possibilités que les organisateurs ont décidé de les détailler plus tard et chacun pourra décider quelle option ils veulent explorer.
Sachant que les pilotes ont tendance à «garder leurs options ouvertes» et à ne pas s’enregistrer tôt, on a décidé d’adopter une politique d’annulation avec plein remboursement d’ici au 28 mai prochain.
L’enregistrement sera limité aux premiers 50 avions. Si nécessaire, il y aura une liste d’attente, et les places vacantes seront allouées si des annulations surviennent.
