Spring Rust Remover held in May


Flight 65 and Vernon Flying Club annual spring “Rust Remover” at the Vernon Regional Airport, is being held on Saturday, May 3.

Registration at the Vernon Flying Club starts at 0830 followed by presentations running from 0930 till 16:00 with break for lunch.

Topics include Emergency Survival Techniques, Vision Considerations When Flying, Safety Management and “ATC assistance to Pilots in Distress.”

Log book stickers certifying attendance at this approved event will be provided. Registration fee of $20.00 includes access to all sessions, morning donuts/coffee, and lunch. Those arriving Friday afternoon are invited to attend potluck barbeque at the VFC Clubhouse at 1730 hrs.
