Hundreds Brave The Chill For Taste Of Hot, Tasty Chili


Moe’s annual fly-in on Saturday, February 26, attracted hundreds of people.The ice strip on the frozen Ottawa River saw at least 100 aircraft come and go during the chilly but bright, sunny day.Many, including a few of Moe’s neighbours come to see all the aircraft, but most really come for his chili. Nothing warms the human interior better than a hot bowl of tasty chili.

During the fly-in event, COPA Flight 169 Captain André Durocher of Pontiac Airpark made a donation to COPA’s Freedom to Fly Fund. Andre is developing a fly-in community northwest of Gatineau-Ottawa and he donates $1,000 to the fund with every lot he sells. For more information on the fly-in community visit:
