New Nova Scotia Flight formed

The Annapolis Valley Flying Association (AVFA) and COPA are proud to announce the formation of a local chapter of the Canadian Owners and Pilot’s Association which will be known as “COPA Flight 147 - Annapolis Valley,” based at Waterville Airport and hosted by the AVFA.

Flight 147 will work in concert with other aviation organizations such as the AVFA and the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to educate the public, promote aviation and flight safety and represent the interests of pilots, aircraft owners and general aviation in the Annapolis Valley.

The AVFA is an association of more than 50 local pilots and aircraft owners, many of whom are also members of the 18,000 strong Canadian Owners and Pilot’s Association. AVFA President and Flight Captain, Art Patton and COPA Liaison, Dan Bartie were presented with the “COPA Flight 147 - Annapolis Valley” charter by COPA Maritime Directors Brian Chappell and Ernie McLean on Saturday, May 19, at a brief ceremony held at the Waterville airport.
