Dinner event starts cross Canada rally

Flight 138 is the starting point of this year's Governor General’s Cup; Centennial of Flight Air Rally. Planes and pilots from across Canada and the USA, and possibly even one or two from Australia and Europe, will convene in Russell, Manitoba on Tuesday, July 28 to begin the 6,200 NM flight, covering all provinces and territories and finishing in Montreal.

Russell will be hosting the pilots on Tuesday evening with a roast beef supper, allowing pilots and passengers to become acquainted with their fellow travel companions. This supper is open to anyone wishing to meet the rally participants.

If you are at all interested in attending this evening's events, or if you wish to participate in the first leg of this journey, be sure to be in Russell on July 28. Visit airrally.com for more info.
