Established aviation organizations join forces

The Vernon Flying Club (VFC) and SportAir have got together to provide social and flying activities in Vernon, BC. VFC, one of the most active flying clubs in the region has been established since 1946, has more than 100 members and provides a meeting place with regular social activities and fly-ins for pilots, homebuilders and aviation enthusiasts of all kinds.

SportAir continues the long tradition of providing flying training in the North Okanagan and Shuswap areas and is presently offering a Cessna 172 for training, rental, sightseeing and aerial photography.

The club is also home to COPA Flight 65.

Forthcoming events include a Young Eagles day on April 12, and a "Rust Remover" recurrent training seminar for private pilots on May 3.
