Flight 16 gets rejuvenated

On the evening of Sept. 5, 2007, at the Aero Club of B.C. Pitt Meadows club house COPA Director for B.C. Terry Wilshire (left) presented the official Flight Certificate to Rene Keller (centre), and Jim Zeilstra Pres. Aero Club of B.C. and Captain of Flight 16. Many thanks to secretary Donna McIntosh, not in photo, who made all the arrangements for the presentation.

COPA Flight 16 was originally formed in Vancouver in 1970. Over the years it has gone through phases of being more and less active. After a period of low activity the flight has recently now been amalgamated into the Aero Club of B.C., a club that goes back to 1915 and the very beginnings of aviation in Canada.

COPA is pleased to have the Aero Club of B.C. as COPA Flight 16 – welcome to the COPA family!
