I have had experience on several municipal boards and scads of volunteer experience as a member of COPA, EAA, Scouting and Air Cadets. My education was in education, engineering and business.

In the past 15 years of flying I have accumulated about 1,200 hours and in the past year have flown about 60 hours in my C172E.
I am currently with COPA Flight 54 at the Saugeen Municipal Airport (CPN4). For the past 12-14 years I have organized the annual COPA Rust Remover held here. I am also a member of the Interprovincial Air Tour Committee and currently am a member of the MAT (Michigan Air Tour) committee.

For 2009 I organized our 100 Years celebration of flight at our airport.

I am a Young Eagle Flight Leader and also a Field Representative for the program. In the past I have been the Chairman of Youth Activities for the Sun 'n Fun Fly-in at Lakeland, Florida, and continue to volunteer there and at AirVenture, Oshkosh, annually.
My reason for applying for this position is to help stop the shrinking pilot population by encouraging others to keep on flying or start flying, to share the pleasures of aviation with others, to hopefully keep the cost of flying in check and stand up against any new government restriction on our freedom to fly.
