COPA Announces New Lower Prices on AOPA Subscriptions

COPA is now able to offer subscriptions to AOPA Pilot magazine at a new lower price - just $35 (US) plus applicable taxes!

COPA President Kevin Psutka traveled to the AOPA Expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey in October 1999 to meet with AOPA President Phil Boyer and his staff. He came away with an agreement for shared services that is mutually beneficial to COPA and AOPA members. Since then many COPA members have taken advantage of this offer to subscribe to AOPA Pilot magazine.

Included with your subscription:

  • AOPA’s Pilot Assistance 800 Line (1-800-872-2672) will provide support to COPA members about flying in the United States.
  • Subscriptions to the international version of AOPA Pilot magazine instead of the American version to all its Canadian members and subscribers. This change will mean that Canadian members will receive the magazine with the IAOPA news bind-in, instead of the AOPA Sweepstakes bind-in.

COPA members are extended a special subscription promotion for the AOPA Pilot International magazine. For $35 (US), COPA members can receive a one-year subscription to the publication. This is a significant discount. This special price is available through AOPA’s office only. AOPA will send the magazine directly to each individual address submitted by COPA. Besides receiving 12 issues of AOPA Pilot, subscribers will be sent a special subscriber pass code card to provide them with access to the "member’s only" section of the AOPA Web site. This special offer is open to all Canadian members of COPA.

Additionally COPA and AOPA have:

  • Co-authored the AOPA/COPA Cross Border information Manual (available for free to members of both associations in the members only sections of both websites)
  • AOPA provides support to COPA members who call AOPA for information on flying in the USA.
  • COPA provides support to AOPA members who call COPA for information on flying in Canada.
  • COPA includes AOPA news in its publications.
