Handbook
There are well-defined steps during the construction of your
amateur-built aircraft beginning with the Letter of Intent, on to the
Inspections, getting the Registration Marks, performing the Fuel Flow Test,
completing the Weight Report and the Application for Special CofA, receiving the
Flight Permit, etc. The Handbook provides details on these and dozens of other
topics to help you document the construction of your aircraft. If you are
serious about building your own aircraft ask for your free copy from EAACC
member Rem Walker, 2348 Garnet St., Regina, Sask., S4T 3A2. Tel.: 306-352-6442;
Fax: 306-565-0694.
Ultralight Summary
If you are interested in flying ultralights this will acquaint you with
the regs. Topics include: regulations for hang gliders, basic ultralights,
advanced ultralights, pilot licencing, pilot permits, flight instructor rating,
exams, building your basic ultralight, evaluation and flight test of ultralights,
etc. Ask for your free copy from EAACC member Rem Walker, 2348 Garnet St.,
Regina, Sask., S4T 3A2. Tel.: 306-352-6442; Fax: 306-565-0694.
Flight Test Manual
Pointed questions are asked of you if your intent is to test fly the
amateur-built aircraft your are building. "Are you qualified to test fly the
aircraft?" "Are you familiar with the flight information provided by the
designer?" "How much runway do you need to safely test fly the aircraft?" The
intent is to prove that your aircraft will fly successfully, not to prove your
macho image by trying to test fly an aircraft beyond your capabilities. If you
are constructing an amateur-built aircraft and have received the registration
marks, please send type of aircraft and registration marks to EAACC member Rem
Walker, 2348 Garnet St., Regina, Sask., S4T 3A2, Tel.: 306-352-6442, Fax:
306-565-0694, for your free copy of the Flight Test Manual.
