Pilot Partner Web site continues to connect pilotsUpdated 28/05/2004: COPA and Pilot Project International Inc are continuing their collaboration on the www.pilotpartner.com Web site. Pilot Partner grew out of the idea for a service to link medically grounded pilots who own aircraft, with pilots without planes, so that both can keep flying. From there it grew to include any non-commercial requirement to match pilots and planes, whether to find flying friends, renters or prospective partners to share an aircraft. The Pilot Partner Website was established three years ago in 2001 and has continued to grow since its inception. Recent redesign work on the website by COPA member and Pilot Project International President Shane Zbrodoff and his staff has rendered the website more attractive and easy to use including the ability to add visual aids and pictures to records. Best of all, this site continues to be free of charge for private aircraft and pilot registration and search. To find someone to share flying with just go to the website and follow the simple steps to list your plane or yourself. You can then search for a pilot or plane within your area. Pilot Partner is a great way to meet new flying friends, stretch your horizons and try out new types of aircraft. Comments on the program and policy can be sent to John Quarterman at COPA jquarterman@copanational.org. |
