COPA Aviation Insurance for 2007 - A Reminder

COPA members who were Silver Wings policy holders in COPA's aviation insurance program in 2006 have recently received e-mail reminders from Marsh Insurance that 2007 insurance is now available. The reminders say: "We are pleased to announce that you can now renew your COPA Group Aviation Insurance Program - Silver Wings Plan on-line. Your on-line renewal application can be found at: www.marsh.ca/copalogin" and then the reminder gives password information to log on.

Some COPA members are interpreting this to mean that their insurance is automatically renewed. This is not the case. You have to reapply for COPA Silver Wings Insurance each calendar year. You Can apply on-line or by requesting a "paper" application from Marsh which then must be completed, signed and returned to Marsh with their payment before your insurance is valid for 2007.
