Looking for interesting flying destinations? Check out what other people are doing by looking on COPA’s Web site. Go to “Canadian Flight News” and select “Cross-Country Focus.” If you are looking for the flight of a lifetime, follow these epic journeys of fellow COPA members who have gone before you.
Look under “Flying in Canada” and click on “Flying to Canada,” for plenty of information including licensing and aircraft requirement for visiting pilots, insurance and customs procedures that also apply to Canadian pilots.
There is also a “Places to fly” section under “Members Only” on the COPA Web. There you’ll find details on many of Canada’s airports, grass strips and floatplane destinations. There are also lists of Bed & Breakfasts are on or will pick up at airports, places to camp under the wing, information on CANPASS and provincial tourism contacts.

If you are looking for the next fly-in you would like to attend make sure to frequently visit the “On the Horizon” section of COPA’s Web site. Under this link you will find fly-ins, air shows and other aviation gatherings.
