The Gore Bay/Manitoulin Airport is the first to offer COPA member specials if they stop for fuel on the way to the COPA Convention in Peterborough, Ont., July 6-8, 2001. The airport is on Manitoulin Island east of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. Besides reasonably priced fuel and friendly service seven days a week, Airport Manager Robby Colwell has a special promotional gift for pilots. He also has a courtesy car and discount coupons for the businesses in town for anyone who has time for lunch or a stay over. Eastern Canadian pilots can take advantage of Gore Bay’s hospitality and specials on their way to and from the AirVenture Oshkosh Fly-in. Are there any other COPA friendly airports?
