Maintain it or lose it

It was announced earlier this year in this COPA Newsletter that new parameters for aerodromes listed in the Canada Flight Supplement required that some person, business, government department, or group, must be listed as the operator, and be responsible to ensure that the information in the CFS is current and correct.
The Transport Canada Pacific Region has announced that the Leo Creek Airport in north central B.C. will be de-registered and removed from the CFS. Closed markings will be placed on the runway. The strip was being maintained by the B.C. Ministry of Forests which no longer has a use for it and will not be maintaining it.
