An Aviation Notice issued on January 24, 2002 that was also included in AIP Amendment 1/02 highlights a change to the way logging activities are reported in the Pacific region. These activities include heli-logging, blasting relating to logging, and skyline operations. Because the number of logging NOTAMs has grown, beginning in April this year, a new yearly list of logging areas will appear in the AIP.
