Support for Toronto City Centre Airport growing

A public-opinion poll conducted for the Toronto Port Authority has found that, by a 2-1 margin, Torontonians favour keeping the island airport rather than converting the land to a park. The poll of 1,003 city residents by Toronto-based Pollara said 63 per cent of those surveyed support revitalizing the CYTZ, while 31 per cent support the park plan. The poll’s margin of error is 3.2 percentage points upward or downward, 19 times out of 20.
