COPA revises Aircraft Buyer's Guide

For many years COPA members have relied on the COPA Guide to Buying a Used Airplane in Canada for advice on the pitfalls involved in buying a used plane.
Originally written by Garth Wallace, this 23 page guide provided lots of great information that the first time airplane buyer needed.
The second edition of this guide is now available. Greatly expanded, it is now entitled The COPA Guide to Buying an Aircraft – Second Edition. This completely rewritten guide includes information needed to buy all types of aircraft – new and used, complete and kits, Canadian and foreign. It now totals 94 pages and features: Complete information on a wide range of subjects – finding an aircraft, pre-purchase inspections, test flying, title and lien searches, escrow services and dozens of other topics.
Nine additional articles by well-known aviation writers on buying an aircraft provide a range of experience to the new buyer.
The new guide also includes two sample aircraft partnership agreements and many other useful forms – Bill of Sale, Offer to Purchase, Aircraft receipts and several others.
The new guide is available free to all COPA members online. You can find it on the COPA Web site www.copanational.org under “Members Only,” “Aviation Guides.”
It is also available via mail on paper for a printing and shipping cost of $9.99 postage paid.
