As of Jan. 22, the Nav Canada web site includes
NOTAMs. This enhancement has been several years in the making and has been a key
feature that COPA has been asking for on the Nav Canada Web site.
The NOTAMs are available from the main page or automatically whenever you select
a weather package for either a local flight or a route on the Nav Canada site
www.flightplanning.navcanada.ca.
This new feature means that pilots can now get weather and NOTAM information on
the web site.
At present, flight plans must be filed via phone or by fax. Nav Canada has
indicated that web-based flight plan filing will be available later this summer.
