COPA has just launched a new COPA Guide. This new
COPA Guide to Getting Back Into Flying is aimed at those pilots who used to fly
and would like to get back into it.
The 14-page guide takes the returning aviator through the reasons why people
stop flying, medical requirements, Transport Canada recency and recurrency
requirements and finding an aircraft to fly. It also deals with changes to
flying rules including an introduction to the CARs, new medical validity periods
and much more.
The guide is written in an easy to understand style that will guide the
returning pilot right through everything needed to get flying again.
The Guide is available for free to COPA members on the COPA Web site in both
HTML and MS Word formats. Paper versions are $2.99 member price or $4.99 for
non-members.
