Call for Nominations - COPA Directors
COPA Directors are your regional representatives,
bringing your concerns to the national table, providing direction for your
President and Staff as well as setting policy for the Association.
For some COPA Director positions, 2006 is an election year. Although the term of
office for all Directors is four years, in the interest of continuity half of
the Director positions are up for election every two years.
The following positions are up for election in the following regions:
Quebec - two Directors (currently Michel Moreau, Frank Hofmann).
Southern Ontario (Postal Codes in Ontario other than those starting with “P”) -
three Directors (currently Glenn Grenier, Darin Graham, one position is vacant).
British Columbia and Yukon - two Directors (Rick Sauter, Tony Swain).
In a recent COPA Board meeting Rick Sauter indicated he is retiring from the
board and will not be running in the 2006 election.
COPA wishes to thank Rick Sauter for his many years of dedication on the board
representing Saskatchewan and most recently British Columbia and Yukon, and for
his work on the Board’s executive as treasurer.
Nominations for a Director must be made in writing by at least five voting
members (defined as paid-up regular members, their family members and persons
designated by corporate members when they applied for membership).
Completed nomination forms must be received at the COPA office by 12:00 noon on
February 6, 2006.
You can mail the form below to COPA, 207-75 Albert St, Ottawa, ON. K1P 5E7, fax
it to 613-236-8646 or send an email message containing the same information to
