COPA insurance reminder

COPA’s Gold Wings and Silver Wings aviation insurance plans cover most aircraft that COPA members own and fly, but they don’t cover all types.
Gold Wings will consider aircraft up to 12,500 lbs. GTOW and 8 seats for a quote while Silver Wings is limited to 8,000 lbs. and 8 seats.
Neither policy will insure a balloon, hang glider, paraglider, airship, hovercraft, nor a commercially registered aircraft (unless the commercial aircraft used is rented or borrowed for private business and pleasure purposes only). They also don’t cover an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) either.
