Places to Fly Recent Additions

Every month Places to Fly grows as more COPA members add new airports and update existing information to the user-editable airport directory.

The total number of airports catalogued in Places to Fly was 517 as of May 3.

Here are the latest new airports added: La Tuque QC, Leader SK, Sudbury / Coniston ON, Moncton/Greater Moncton International Airport NB, Bamfield BC, Owen Sound / Billy Bishop Regional ON, Vermilion AB, Geraldton (Greenstone Regional) ON, Val-d'Or QC, Guelph ON, Toronto / Markham ON, Cardston AB, Turner Valley Bar N Ranch AB, Killarney Municipal MB, Medicine Hat / Schlenker AB.

Many of the existing airport entries now include up-to-date fuel prices and landing fees, as well as hotel and restaurant recommendations.

Take a few minutes after your next flight to enter the fuel price and date wherever you bought gas. If you have information on hotels or tourist attractions then add that information as well.

If there is a local grass strip that you have information about then add it as a new airport. The Places to Fly system is “user friendly,” quick and easy to update – no special skills are required – just update the form provided and you are done!
